  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a 10-inch bundt pan.
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

  • Mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Alternately add dry ingredients and sour cream to the butter mix.
  • Combine honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans for the filling.
  • Layer half the batter in the pan, top with half the filling, then repeat.
  • Swirl with a knife, and bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
